Get a load of these cookies, part matcha, part strawberry and all parts divine. These are a fairly easy and quick to bake. Pro-tip if you only want one flavour, you can totally do that too.
This recipe makes 12 cookies
Ingredients
1 cup of flour
1/8 tsp baking soda
1 tsp matcha powder
2 Tbsp ground freeze dried strawberry
1 large egg
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter, slightly melted
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix the butter, and sugar together until smooth.
Add in the egg and combine.
Add in baking soda and flour and mix.
Split your cookie dough into 2 equal halves.
In one half, add the 1 tsp matcha and mix.
In the other half, add the 2 Tbsps of ground freeze dried strawberry.
Using 1/2 Tbsp, scoop the matcha dough into little balls. Do the same with the strawberry cookie dough.
Pair up each matcha ball with a strawberry ball. GENTLY, roll them together into 1 larger ball.
Place evenly on the baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Enjoy!
*Cookie dough can be premade and chilled overnight as well.
